I created this podcast trailer as part of my final assessment, designing the full soundscape from dialogue to sound effects and background music. I focused on achieving clarity and balance across all elements, enhancing the overall audio and adjusting volume levels to ensure a clean, cohesive mix. This project showcases my ability to craft engaging and polished audio for podcast-style content.

Through The Blur

Melvin traumatized by his own nightmares, and overdoses pills. His friend, Daniel, manages to save him in time before it gets critical. Melvin takes small steps towards recovery after that incident and appreciates the help he has from people around him.

In this project, I served as the Camera Operator, where I planned and executed the visual framing for each scene. I selected the most effective angles, distances, and compositions to support the project’s storytelling. I also adjusted the camera settings—such as exposure, white balance, and picture profile—to achieve the tone and emotional feel we wanted for the film.

During post-production, I enhanced the audio using an AI speech enhancer for clarity and efficiency. I organised and arranged the final clips, added sound effects for impact, and selected background music to strengthen the emotional delivery of the message. I also incorporated visual effects to create smoother transitions and elevate the overall presentation.

This video project was my first graded production, where I took on the role of Assistant Producer. I helped keep the team on track by monitoring the filming schedule and ensuring that each scene was prepared and ready to shoot. I also assisted with transporting and setting up the equipment needed throughout the production.

During post-production, I imported and organised the final clips in Adobe Premiere Pro, cleaned up the audio to remove unwanted background noise, and added visual effects to create smoother transitions. After completing the final edit, my team decided to submit my video to the Youth Against Scam Video Competition 2025.
